Description of 1988 Alfa Romeo Milano Verde

I purchased this Verde about a year ago from Florida. While it has a 180K on the odometer but the engine was rebuilt only 21k miles ago (by RML in Daytona Beach, lorida). That was done 7 years ago. I have all service records since I purchased the vehicle (all work performed by DiFatta Brothers).
The highlights:
- Excellent cosmetically both in and out (no rips in seats, eadliner hangs properly)- Very Cold A/C
- Sunroof works
- Newish Bilstein shocks
- Brand new tires
- Brand New timing belt
- Awesome, ery responsive clutch
- Garaged as far back as I know
- Handles and runs great
- Absolute blast to drive
- Engine (and entire car) very clean
- All work since purchase at DiFatta Brothers in Baltimore - over $5k in last year, hich includes:
  • New timing belt
  • New water pump
  • New battery (prior owner had put new but incorrect one so it was dying after short times)
  • Clean and adjust window regulator
  • Sunroof parts (guides, ifts, racks, prings)
  • Coil and coil module
  • Mult relay
  • Replacement of upper and lower ball joints
  • Replacement of outer tie rod ends
  • Outer Back Boot
  • New Door Lock electric motor
  • Replacement of passengers window mech
  • Four new tires
  • Recent oil and filter change
The less good:
- No service records from before I purchased last year (although Ric Loveccio at RML vouched for the engine rebuild and partial restoration)
- No catalytic converter (it passes VA inspection and emissions but different states have different rules)
- Trip clock not functioning (odometer does function though) and gas gauge has tolerance band (though generally functions)
- The blower motor, hough now functional, ay be living on borrowed time (based on sound)
- Small rust hole in far left side of spare tire well in trunk, nd small, arely visible amount of latent rust above right wheel well - otherwise rust free
While it is not a garage queen, t's not far off. I have spent over $5k optimizing this car since purchase this time last year. I wish I could keep it but I have room for only two cars so this beautiful Verde a needs a good home.
