Description of 1983 Alfa Romeo GTV MILANO ENGINE INSTALLED

1983 ALFA ROMEO GTV6
This is a nice example of a hard to come by 1983 Alfa Romeo GTV6. A Milano engine had been installed about 15,000 miles ago and I do not know much about the engine other than it runs well. I purchased from the owner whose father was a collector and had the work completed on the car but I have no receipts. The car was then sold to his grandson who drove the car until he left to go to MIT and since left the car at his fathers home in Washington State. It has been sitting inside a garage and driven infrequently.
The paint is not great, the body has some dents (see pics) and while the front recaro seats were completely reupholstered in what appears to be a very soft leather/vinyl the rear seats are still original. The car starts up and runs and drives. The rear brakes appear to be low and the emergency brake will stick at times since it was sitting but overall while I feel the car would be fine to make a long drive; it would be best to go through prior to such a journey. It seems as if a good amount of upkeep had been given to this car, the exhaust appears new and overall it shows signs of being taken care of.
The AC and Fan does not appear to be working; don't know if it is a fuse or something more significant. I have described to the best of my knowledge and would recommend you inspect the car or have someone inspect. Unfortunately, my classic car collection is going to be up for sale to help finance my daughters college education. She did very well on her ACT and will be eligible for a Ivy league education which I will not deny her. I recently purchased this GTV6 so it will be one of the first to go.
The car will be sold with a clear Washington State title and if sold in California where the car is located a California Smog Certificate will NOT be provided. I am not sure if it will pass with the Milano engine and unfortunately don't have time to figure out.
