Description of 1991 Alfa Romeo Spider Spider Veloce

SUPER CLEAN 1991 ALFA ROMEO SPIDER VELOCE

Immaculate Inside and Out. Some scratches on paint commensurate with a 25 year old car, otherwise perfect.

To all:   I am not trying to be arrogant here, only truthful and I hope you respect that.  This is the second e-bay round on this car.  The first was a fixed price at $9, 00 and I received two offers.  One was respectable at $7, 00 but not enough; the other was $4, 00 from someone looking for a bargain, which I respect because that’s part of the whole e-bay thing.  That being said, I know how much this car is worth.  And I want whoever buys it to treasure it as much as I have and that begins with paying the right price.  I bought it for $6, 00, put around $6, 00 into it and have driven it around 1, 00 miles per year.  It is garaged and covered.

I do not have to sell this car, and in fact I have very mixed feelings.  The truth is that I am downsizing now that the kids are out of college and gone (who wants to pay NYS property taxes that they don’t have to), I just bought a Panamera and I really do not have the garage space.  And I will not leave this car outside.

So, I will make the space if need be.  But first, I am going for one more round on e-bay.  This time it will be a 7-day auction starting at $99.  The Buy it Now price will still be $9, 00 and there will be a reserve.  You know I already turned down a $7K offer.  So govern yourselves accordingly.  If I don’t sell it I at what I consider a very fair price, I will consider it divine provenance, take it off the market and probably keep it forever.  Thanks for listening, fellow Alfaistas and good luck!

Bought in 2004 in Greensboro, NC with mileage a little under 100, 00 and covered and garaged ever since. In the 12 years I have owned the car, I have driven it a total of 12, 00 miles.

Car has been a gem... never stranded me (come to think of it, nobody in the entire NY Alfa Club has ever gotten stranded.

For those who try to lump Alfas in with British Leyland cars or FIATs, they are in a whole different class... the original sports car.
