Description of 1992 Alfa Romeo Spider

1992 Alfa Romeo Spider VeloceVIN: ZARBB32N1N700068653k milestriple black5spd manualmeticulously maintainedclean&clear title in handno rust anywhereexcellent driveroriginal booklets and manuals includedservice history with records and receiptsMechanicals:-This car starts runs and drives excellent. Meticulously maintained with OEM Alfa Romeo parts only. Full compression in all 4 cylinders. Pulls hard throughout the entire RPM range and shifts smoothly throughout all 5 gears and into reverse. New OEM clutch and flywheel feel great. Rebuilt brake calipers all around as is it common for the pistons to seize from lack of use. All new front end bushings and ball-joints with a recent alignment. Fresh fluids. Brand new battery.Exterior:-Body is very presentable with smooth glossy deep black paint. Various little dings scattered around on various sections of the body but nothing major. Front and rear bumpers could use a respray if you're a perfectionist. The body would benefit a great deal from some PDR (painless-dent removal) and a detail/buff/polish to correct some minor swirl marks. Completely rust-free with 100% solid floors rockers wheel wells etc. All chrome and glass is 100% with no oxidation or pitting. The convertible soft top is cosmetically presentable with a good rear plastic window. It functions 100% sealing the interior from the elements. The frame is perfect opening & closing with ease. There is a cut that was repaired (see photo). It never bothered me as the top is usually down but a perfectionist may want a new soft top.Interior:-Beautiful 'Veloce' trim interior. Seats and door panels are finished in black leather with black alcantara inserts. Colored Alfa Romeo emblem custom fitted to steering wheel for a unique look. Everything has held up very well over the years and is a solid 9/10.Wheels/Tires:-Original 'Veloce' phone-dial wheels are all straight and true. They are refinished in a gloss hyper silver as opposed to the original dull bare aluminum finish. Stock black&gray center caps were swapped for OEM colored Alfa Romeo emblem caps. All four matching 195/60/15 Michelin Pilot Sport with 90% thread left.Electronics:-All electronics function 100% as they should. Power windows go up&down perfectly with decent speed (very rare in a vintage Alfa Romeo). Power mirrors move in all directions. All lights work as they should. Original radio and speakers. The A/C in these cars were never cold even when brand-new but everything is there and unmolested should the future owner want to get it going. The bad:-Some very minor dings scattered around the body from 23years of use. PDR (paintless-dent removal) should be able to get most of them out.-Front & rear bumpers could use a respray.-Convertible soft top has a cut that was repaired (see photo).-Original rear springs are sagging a bit and should be replaced to bring the rear end back up to stock ride height. Luckily I have a brand-new set of OEM rear springs in the trunk for the future owner.*This is a great investment for anyone as the Series 4 (S4) Spider's are appreciating in value every year. *This car is not perfect cosmetically but with little TLC it could very easily be near perfect.*Excellent driver with tons of new OEM parts. All up to date on maintenance.
