Description of 1968 AMC Other SST

This car has the original 290 V-8. I bought this car in 1983. It is extremely rare car. there were only 360 of this type built by AMC. It had been sitting since 1975 undriven. The original mileage at the time was 15 k and change. I drove it for 12 years. I took all the Auto Body classes at the local college back in 1994 and took all the Canary Yellow paint off. cut out and re-welded two small areas where rust was present. and re-primed the whole car. I had the T-35 Transmission rebuilt and then let the car sit out of commission till 2004 when I gave it to my 16 yr old son. He started to overhaul the engine. spent at least 2. 00 on it(New: Performance Cam. Roller lifters. Piston Rings. Intake Manifold. Distributor. Cooling Fan. Air Filter/Housing And more) then got interested in trucks! So since it was my first car I've just hung onto it all these years but it really needs to be a project for somebody who knows how to restore classic cars and has the time. I still have the original intake manifold. hubcaps and the original Laurel Metallic Green paint exists in trunk. door jams. floorboards. amp; and engine bay( which was stripped and repainted) I have more photos on request.
