Description of 1969 AMC AMX

We found this beautiful AMX in a small Colorado town where it came out of 20 years of loving ownership. It is a numbers matching car with factory Go Pac. 390 and manual transmission. The owner spent 5 years on the restoration. completely pulling it apart and replacing every nut. bolt and seal. The 390 was completely gone through and built to the highest standards by well known AMX specialist John Edgar. The transmission. original Borg Warner T10 Hurst four speed. was completely gone through as well and is extremely close and tight. Previously the car was purchased from a collector in Arizona. It was a perfect rust-free palat from which to begin the restoration. The paint scheme is based on the Division 5 Class B AMC Racing Team colors. However. it is finished in Imron Paint. a high quality polyurethane paint made by Dupont. nbsp;which is absolutely gorgeous and extremely durable.
