1 of 825 built, 1972 Javelin AMX 401, auto, factory air(not working but, all parts are there), 3.54 twin grip rear, power steering, power disc brakes, has documented 37k original miles. Body is very nice, not rust underneith. Paint is tired and appears to have been redone at some point in its life. There is some rust aroung the back window on the passenger side. The rockers, trunk, floors, and fender throughs are all solid. The motor was built by the previous owner and it has a 520/544 lift hyd cam, Milodon gear drive, Offenhauser intake, and valve covers, 12:1 pistons, Edelbrock 750cfm carb. The trans has a 2800rpm 10" converter, Cheetah valve body, and shift kit. True dual flow master exhaust, Mallory breakerless distributor, Spahl electric fans, and heavy duty aluminum radiator. Wheels are 15x10 rear, and 15x7 front American Racing Torque Thrust D. BF Goodrich tires in great shape. The interior is NOT original. It has a Pierre Cardin interior from a 73'-74' Javelin. It is in good shape, no rips or frays but, is a little dirty. I do have the correct black Wellington vinyl seats front and rear, with new seat shells for this car, as well as a new carpet kit, and AMX door panel inserts. Only ONE interior comes with the car!!! The car has factory AC but, everything has been open/disconnected for years. I have all the the components, just not working. Please feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking.
