Description of 1967 AMC Other

Just finished the scarebird front disc brake swap. New tires and wheels. Just rebuilt the 232 engine. New rear brakes w/Drums too. Hood needs bodywork because I dropped something on it right after we had the car painted. The front windshield is starting to get hazy on the perimeter. The door and window weatherstripping should be replaced. The seats were all redone recently. The body is very straight with rust free steel. There is no radio. I do have a factory AC system that I was going to install which I pulled out of a 1967 AMC Rebel. I already installed the clean Condensor and lines. I also put a newly rebuilt Carburetor on her.
This is by far the cleanest 1967 AMC American Rambler 440 that is for sale in the USA for this low price
I spent $1500 on getting this engine pulled out and rebuilt and then re-installed. I only have 500 miles on the car since I finished the last stage of the restoration. We have about $1200 in the world nterior and another $3500 in paint & Bodywork. The tires and wheels cost us about $500 which isn't too expensive but it made a huge difference to the look and ride. These are American Racing Wheels with all new rubber.
The bumpers need to get re-chrome or different bumpers all together. The bumpers are fine the way they are if you you want a daily driver but if you want to take this car to the finest stage of a restoration then you should look for new bumpers.
We updated the charging system with a GM alternator swap and new electric connectors.
The horn assembly on the steering wheel also needs replacing because it does not function. I bought a complete steering column for this car that is totally together. I never got to it though but I will include it with the purchase of the car. This cost me $250.
I have the complete mplete set of exterior trim for this car. I installed one side so far since the car was painted. I will install the other side before the car leaves my premises.
The radiator was also redone by a local shop near me. I have new hoses on it too.
I also put a brand new HEI distributor, wires, plugs and vacuum lines to n her
The exhaust pipe and muffler has not been changed out yet so who ever buys this car should do it. It is not loud or ugly but you can see the wear when it's up on the lift. I'm giving you all of the details on this car.
The title is in my name and it is clean. The title is a Florida title
If you want more pictures or a video of this car please text me and I will provide you with some good content.

I have several parts that I will include with the car. I have lights, steering column, brakes, electrical parts, interior parts, hardware, engine parts, body parts and AC parts.... I spent thousands on this car and I'm selling it for a fraction of what we put into it. We have over 1000 hours into this car.
The reason I am selling this AMC American is because I got sick again and this time it's not good. I closed my hobby shop down and I am selling off all of my toys because we are traveling up to Ohio to Cleveland Clinic for some treatments. Crohn's disease has gotten the best of me but I'm still fighting.
