Description of 1970 AMC AMX

This car is un-restored and un-molested. It retains 100% of its original sheet metal which does include some dings, bumps and bruises. With the exception of a 6” strip of pinholes on the lower trunk lid and a few pinholes behind the left rear wheel that were lightly touched up the car is rust free. It is mostly factory original including the paint, “c” stripes, motor, trans & rear, chrome, trim, wheels, spare tire/accesories. Time period correct rear aluminum window “sport shades”. The seats which were re-covered in vinyl(original leather) and the carpet were both replaced years ago. The original heavy asphalt base sound deadener/heat insulator material still remain on all the floors. The head liner material seperated from the backer board and just needs to be re-glued. The gas gauge, radio and dash lights aren’t working. This is a nice running car that drives, brakes and steers as it should. The car was purchased at “sunshine rambler” in dallas texas by the original owner, he sold it to an ohio collector in 2007 who left the car un-touched. I purchased it from him in 2014.There are no surprises and you wont be dissapointed if your in the market for a good looking, running, driving original 70 AMX.I have set a low fair market reserve on the car.I encourage interested bidders, if possible, to inspect the car prior to bidding. Remember, this is a 48 year old un-restored car.please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about the car.I do have the car listed for sale locally, so i reserve the right to end this auction early.

Also included are a very nice set of stock 70 dogleg exhaust manifolds, the aircleaner snorkel, the heat riser stack/shield and owners manual and sevice manual. Ebay wont allow me to add a picture.
Shortly after The original owner purchased the car in 1970, he returned it to the dealer and had them install an air-conditioner. That whole unit had been removed at some point in the cars life, but i have all the a/c components that are included in the sale. Ebay wont allow me to add a picture.
Sorry i forgot to mention that The carburetor is a ebelbrock and not the original autolite. Ebay wont allow me to add a picture.
