Description of 1953 Ford Other Pickups

1953 Ford F100 short bed pickup. This truck has a rebuilt Ford 429 cu in engine with a automatic transmission. It also has a brand new Edelbrock carb. This is an old school rod. has the diamond pleated door panels. and console built in mounted to the cab roof. The engine runs good. trans is good. It does not have a gas tank. buyer will need to install one to have it run without putting the gas line hose in a gas can. The truck has the hood mounts reversed and hinges on the front. Previous owner put a good deal of work into the truck. but most of it looks to have been done many years ago. You can see the rust issues at bottom of cab corners and front of the rear fenders. The frame and fender liners are in good condition. It will need the brakes redone. they are not operational now. It has the neat old 5 slot kidney bean type aluminum wheels. A later model dash has been mounted in the cab. The wood bed has been replaced with a steel bed floor. It won't take a lot to get this one road ready. Good title. Call if you have questions.
