The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this beautiful 1967 Austin Healey 3000 MkIII. This car was purchased out of the Yankee Candle collection, and is stunning in every way. It is self evident that the car was restored with and open wallet and remains in near show condition. We have restoration records going back to the late 1990’s. Throughout the years, the following restorative work was done;

The entire brake system was replaced, including calipers, discs, drums, pads and master cylinder.

The suspension was rebuilt, with new bushings and renewed shocks.

The Carburetors have been cleaned, balanced and synchronized

The correct red paintwork shows beautifully, with no blemishes or issues.

The interior was restored, including the carpets. The red seats show beautifully with a mild patina on the driver’s seat.

The engine compartment is fully detailed, and the engine runs beautifully

Great attention to detail was shown during the restoration, with a fully detailed underside, body colored frame rails, detailed engine compartment, and the head, tail and all lights were replaced.

The wiring harness is clearly new and correct.

All chrome body trim shows well and clearly in near new condition.

The wood dashboard is near perfect and the veneers are better then original.

The 6-cylinder engine was just tuned, including new cap and rotor, and runs smoothly with good power and torque. Compression is excellent in all cylinders. The chrome wire wheels are in near perfect condition, and are shod with Dunlop 165HR15 radial tires. The 4-speed manual transmission was clearly rebuild. It shifts well, and the OVERDRIVE works as it should. All electrical and mechanical systems work well. The top is in as-new condition, and the mechanism is well finished and works well. No expense was spared, and any issues needing attention have been correctly addressed. The quality of this car cannot be overstated. This is a gorgeous example of a near show quality car. It is well sorted and one of the nicest examples of a Big Healey on the market today. Please feel free to call us at 203 256 9800 or emailSteven@classiccargallery.com if you have any questions.
