Description of 1966 Austin Healey 3000 Blue

The last-generation Austin Healey 3000 BJ8 sports convertible Mark III model was produced from 1964 to 1967. 17,712 Mark IIIs were manufactured until the end of 1967, many destined for the North American market.
This 1966 Austin Healey on offer has been owned by one of our customers for the past 10 years. Illness forces the sale. Never afraid to drive it, this Healey has been all over. Many road trips even had me raising my eyebrows. Having been a driver, this car does show a little wear and tear since its restoration, which was reported to have taken place sometime in the 90`s. The only other history I have is that the car`s previous owner had it for 10 years
During the current owners tenure, it received the following:Electronic ignitionRebuilt carbsAluminum radiator along with high flow fanNew cylinder (rebuilt) and new gasketsNew brake master and servoNew convertible top bootNew wheels and new Michelin tiresNew batteryRebuilt speedometer
Examine pictures closely. You will not find any rust on the chassis and only a small amount of bubbling on the rearfenders just ahead of the wheels. For more photos go to markraspi.wordpress.com For additional information, don`t hesitateto call Mark at 410-420-1202
