Description of Austin Healey 3000

1966 Austin Healey 3000 BJ8 MKIII phase 2. This is a stalled restoration project that Ii bought last February. When I purchased it, here was nothing on the chassis, put on the suspension and installed the motor and gear box, olted on the body parts, ith minimum bolts just to make it easy to ship. The chassis has been Redi-Stripped and new sheet metal installed where needed and primered. This work was all done by the previous owner. The doors do not seem to fit right as something seems to be welded on in an incorrect position. The chassis will need additional work in order for everything to fit right. There is no rust in the chassis, ust light surface rust on the chassis from sitting. Both front fenders are straight, ut the right-front needs a patch panel on the bottom. The rear fenders have both had a dog-leg panel installed. Both doors, runk lid and hood are rust-free and straight. The motor turns over, ut we could not start it as the manifolds and carburetors did not come with the car. The other parts that are missing are a horn/turn signal unit, ear seat fold down backrests and probably miscellaneous small parts. A British Motor Heritage build sheet comes with the car and was sold new to Hamilton Ontario, anada. I am selling this project as I have found another 1965 Healey that has never been apart and is rust-free, ut has crash damage on the front, ut is fixable. I also have this car advertised locally, o I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells. For more information about the car, lease call John at (541) 221-9213. SOLD AS IS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. Transportation to be paid by the winning bidder. On Oct-31-15 at 16:50:43 PDT, eller added the following information:

The car has a clear Oregon title and it also has the intake manifold and the front exhaust manifold, he listing states the both are missing,
