I am selling this 1961 Austin A 40 for my neighbor. Her ex-husband planned to restore it. but never began the project. It appears to be an original California car. with black plates. Its former owner gave it to this couple. having stored it in his garage since 1971 (the last date of registration!); he became too old to work on it. He owned several Austins. Car appears to be complete. and is ready for a restoration. I looked at the body from many angles and it looks straight and without any obvious rust perforations. which given its California heritage. is understandable.
