Description of 1967 Austin Taxicab

Running / driving 1967 Austin taxicab. complete with an Oklahoma title and keys. The car has a primitive paint job which actually covers some bondo leveling or repairs. The entire car is fairly straight with no obvious evidence of major rust or damages. Grill could best be described as pristine. but the bumpers appear to need a bit of straightening. The car is obviously right hand drive with the driver and luggage storage separated from the passenger compartment by a clear. sliding divider. The passenger compartment seats three on a bench seat and allows for two other passengers to ride facing backwards on matching leather. foldout. theater seats. The headliner is nonexistent. Glass is complete. Since Britain still uses miles instead of kilometers to measure distance. the speedometer registers in miles per hour. But I suspect that the speedometer has been replaced since only shows some 5. 00 miles. The leather interior appears to be original leather. but very well worn. I am not sure what the shelf paper is about in the passenger compartment. but it probably hiding deteriorating leather. All four tires are older but still usable. This is a complete. nbsp; restorable car for the collector of unique vehicles.
