Description of 1966 Austin Healey Sprite

This is one of the most complete Austin Healey Sprites around. The car has all matching numbers, and it has been in a garage for over twenty years. The family who sold it to me simply "out grew the car." I don't know what the original color was, but it was painted British racing green in the early 80's. It comes with it's original soft cover, tounneau cover, frames and case, jack, hub caps, original upholstery which is in very good shape, carpeting, and all dash knobs are original, The only thing not original on this car is the new exhaust system, and the hard top, and the radio. The license plate lens, taillight lens and all faulty wiring have all been replaced. The car has brand new tires. It has a new battery, distributor cap, plug wires and fuel pump. The carburetors have been rebuilt, and brake rotors, calipers, hoses and pads have been replaced. The radiator was pulled and serviced. The fuse block was replaced and the engine was performance tuned. The old master cylinder has been replaced and the fuel lines cleared so old fuel could be purged. A hole in the passenger side floor has been repaired. I have spent months and have had plenty of work done to have this car pass VA safety inspection and to make this vehicle drivable.
I did not have the ignition switched to electrical because I wanted to sell it as original as I could. I have forked out thousands so THE CAR CAN BE DRIVEN LEGALLY AND SAFELY.
The only thing left to do on this car is the aesthetics, which are not time sensitive. This car is good to go. Included are two Healey workshop manuals one for the glove box, one for bookshelf.
I have this car priced to sell hoping it will go to a new owner during the Christmas season.
