Description of 1967 Austin FX4 Cab |
| Great Right-Hand -Drive Austin FX4 Cab that we have used in our limo service as a fun getaway car for the last 20 years. Original Diesel engine was removed and retrofitted with a GM 3. 8L V-6 Engine prior to us owning it. We replaced same engine with new engine in 1997. Original vinyl interior replaced with dark red interior. cute partition drapes and cute floor rug to give it a private and classier look. One jump seat was removed to add stereo and television along with built-in beverage chest and champagne glass holder with built in drain. Previous owner had installed a push-button bar that can be used with bottles set up in the trunk area if so desired (was not used by us as dictated by WA Sate liquor laws) . Cute "for hire" light on top of windshield illuminates and turn signals also located on roof. Car equipped with secondary battery system to run accessories in back of vehicle separate from starting battery. Vehicle was repainted and bumpers re-chromed in 2011.
