About this vehicleThis 1977 Austin Mini Clubman is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for car shows.Seller's NotesThe vehicle is not a run of the mill Mini, this is a car that requires your full driving attention.Up for sale is a highly modified 1977 British Leyland Mini Clubman. EBay doesn’t have British Leyland listed so it is listed as an Austin as they owned the Mini rights after.The engine has been swapped to a 2003 Yamaha R-1 engine and transmission. It is a 6 speed manual with a close ratio gearbox. The car began life in England, coated in a dreary drab brown exterior, it was restored in 2006 on a rotisserie finishing it in Land Rover Orange. There is no rust on the body or subframes.Hood and arches are fiberglass.Sunroof doesn’t leak, though it never sees rain. Imperfections on the arches are highlight in photos.
