Description of 1932 Austin BANTAM COUPE

I have for sale a 1932 American Austin Coupe. This Bantam coupe was restored in the early to mid 90's and has been enjoyed at local car shows cruise-in's and driven in 4th of July and Christmas parades since that time. It was sold new in Kinston North Carolina and has remained in N.C. since then. It starts and runs great and is a lot of fun to drive. I purchased it from the man that performed a frame off restoration on the car. I feel the mechanics are great but he also painted the car and the paint is what I would call a 10 footer as at 10 feet it looks great but with close inspection you can see flaws in the paint. To use as a driver or to go to local shows it will be great. The fuel gage and at times the speedometer do not work but the other gauges work correctly. I took this car the last two Saturdays to car shows and it will draw lots of attention as folks will talk to you about the little Bantam and most will take pictures. I did win a First Place in class award at the AACA local car show in Burlington N.C. More pictures and attention was given to this little car than any other car in attendance. This is rare and unique little car and fun to own. I do have it for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time. I welcome any buyers to come and inspect the car any time. Sold as is where is. I can assist with car pick-up if needed. I have a clear North Carolina title in hand and the title does show reconstructed as the serial number is a combination of the body number and engine number and the engine block was changed when restored and a correct title issued for the correct numbers that are on the car. A $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end. Contact me for payment of remaining balance which is due within 7 days of auction end. Any questions please contact me before bidding.
