This BMW spent 28 years in Mesa Arizona before coming to Indiana and that explains the absence of rust, he faded paint, nd need for updating the upholstery. During the last 5 years the car has been garage kept, arked all winter in the garage, nd driven on nice days. On nice days I use the car for local trips to the store, ank and post office, tc. If you are looking for smoke the tires acceleration or blinding speed this is not the car for you. This is a fun to drive, speed, cylinder, door car. You can run through the gears and hit 5th gear without getting a speeding ticket because you will probably be under 50 MPH when you hit 5th gear. BMW made a 6 cylinder engine that bolts into this car if you really need that kind of power.
