Description for BMW 2002 1974

Beautiful 'Real' example of a Numbers Matching, uel Injected, hamonix 1974 BMW 2002Tii. The BMW 2002Tii was only imported between 1972-74 and in a number around 7500. There are considerably less than that many left. As a result this is an appreciating Classic and will ONLY continue to go up in value.I have owned 'Gretchen' for over 8 years and she is not a 'Trailer Queen', he is a rare example of a Vintage Car that is driven on a regular to semi-regular basis. Currently Insured by Hagerty for $30,000.She is not a 'show car' but, regularly take her to BMW events and is a definite 'Looker' and get compliments every time I drive her (I do love that!). I do take extremely good care of her. I recently (within 3000 miles) had the following done...brakes, oints, ransmission (shaft end seal as well as shift linkage, hifter, eals and a few other brackets and such that needed repair), lignment and new tires all at a cost of over $1500.Within the last 12,000 miles...Clutch, ransmission, alanced & Blueprinted Distributor, ew Exhaust Resonator, peedometer Cable, alve Adjustment (with Valve Cover Gasket), une-up (including Plugs), -Fish Pump Rebuild and Driveshaft Rebalance. She is not perfect, he's is almost 42 years old (build date Dec 1973) but in my opinion she is close and very reliable, wouldn't hesitate to drive her anywhere. The list of things that have been replaced on Gretchen are well documented and I have the majority of the maintenance records dating back to the 80's.Since I have owned her this is the list off the top of my head:Nardi Steering Wheel, teel Braided Brake Lines, olyurethane Bushings, ilstein Shocks and H&R Springs, ront Shock Tower Mounts, aster and Slave Cylinders, pgraded 65 Amp Alternator, -Series Starter Motor, eater Core Refurbished with Blower Motor, ottle Cap Rims Refurbished, ew 3 Series Radiator, lectric Fuel Pump, -speed Transmission from 3 Series, ew Clutch, ront and Rear Glass, oor Seals and Window Seal (including Wings and Quarters), lock Refurbish, ew Sun Visors, arker Performance Gauges (Oil Pressure, il Temperature and Volts), ront Seats Re-stuff and Rear Seat Repair and Re-stuff, ew Front Seat Belts, re-'74 Chrome Bumper with Plate Lights, ew Tail Light Lenses, ella Driving Lamps (wired with OEM Fog Lamp Switch), amei Front Air Dam (Replica), uropean Front Blinkers, ide Markers and Rubber Side Pieces Removed, laupunkt Seattle MP74 Radio with 4 MB Quart Speakers (not in the doors) and an Alpine Amplifier (in the Trunk...professionally done), ll rust eradicated and car professionally repainted. There may be a few more things as I know the list is quite extensive. She was even mentioned as 1 of the top 5 in Eurotuner for the 2013 SoCal Vintage Event
Included will be a few bits and pieces as well as a Custom Car Cover and Laminated Electrical Wiring Diagram. I also have the RARE Blue Binder BMW Maintenance Manuals and these can also be negotiated into the deal.
I think it's time for a new project but I am not in a hurry to sell her. I may consider a trade plus cash for the right car (Alfa Romeo Spider, lassic Mini (or 2003-2008 Version), lassic Fiat...etc.) Price is NEGOTIABLE and Offers will be considered.
Speedometer shows but you can add about 200,000 to that, ot that anything on the car has 200,000 miles on it. Purely for historical and maintenance records. Anyone that say there car has less is probably full of it. These cars were meant to be driven.Car is for sale locally and my be withdrawn if sold.
I have tried to describe her as well as possible and hope she finds a great home.
Thank you.
