THE OVERVIEW Offered for an appreciating new owner is thiscustom 6 SPEED MANUAL transmission!1994 BMW 740il Finished in what appears to be all original glass black paint over tan leather hides, his one-of-a-kind E32-chassis seven series BMW has been driven an average of 9,000 miles per year since new. It sports a great running 282 horsepower 4.0 liter V8 engine mated to the custom installed 6 speed stick shift from an E34 540i. Is it truly one-of-a-kind? I have not seen another one like it but either way it is a cool setup which entailed $1,800 in parts alone for the conversion. This long wheelbase 740il features 18" BMW Style 21 Rondell wheels with brand new Sumitomo rubber, n-dash BMW cd stereo, lectric leather seats, lectric windows and sunroof, /c, ual airbags and more. This cool 740 is being sold here with clear and clean California title, urrent registration, urrent smog certificate and a folder of comprehensive service and conversion history! Overall this is handsome, oomy and safe sedan for LESS THAN THE COST OF THE SALES TAX ALONE on a new quickly depreciating 750LI THE BODY AND TRIM The exterior of this 1994 BMW is in good to very good 99.9% rust-free condition with a very nice overall shine to the gloss black paint finish. Is this 20+ year-old sedan PERFECT? No, t is not! Cosmetic imperfections include broken front lip spoiler, ome faded and cloudy paint areas, arious nicks, cratches and small brush touched spots as well as a small dent on the right side door bottom. THE INTERIOR The interior of this non-smoker cal is also in good to very good condition throughout with perfect dash, ice leather seating, arpet and door panels. Imperfect areas include, ut not limited to, tear on driver seat bottom, agging headliner fabric near the back window, assenger side seat belt missing and needs replacement [and accompanying ABS light flashing], runk panel awol, /c not blowing cold and cracked and incorrect 5 speed shift knob [I have a line on a new leather 6 speed shift knob for the new owner]. Overall this is still a lovely quality-built cockpit with gobs of rear seat legroom. THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This big seven series starts perfectly with super smooth and quite powerful and torquey V8 engine, xcellent shifting transmission with all new short-shift components, trong and secure braking and tight rattle-free suspension with Bilstein shocks.
