I am selling this BMW for a friend who owns a local salvage yard. This car came in with an intermittent automatic transmission problem (reverse does not always work) and brake troubles. It runs well enough, lthough the engine is not as smooth as a V8 should be and may need work. The body is quite good, ith some minor rust issues but not much corrosion at all. The underside is solid. There is paint flaking over rust just above the rear bumper corner (see picture) but not rust holes. Paint is decent. Interior is not bad, ith some wear on the driver's seat bolster. No Check Engine light or other warning lights showing. The car has four nearly new snow tires mounted on the original rims, hich are clean, nd the spare is a full-size alloy wheel, lso good. There are a few tools in the original tool kit. Massachusetts Salvage Title if you are going to repair or resell the car; otherwise, t will be sold on a Massachusetts Bill of Sale. This would be a good project for a person who wants a cheap Bimmer, r an unbelievably great parts car. The wheels and tires alone must be worth well over the opening bid price.
