Description of 1974 BMW 2002

Selling my 1974 BMW 2002tii
Background on the car: I purchased the car 3 years ago from a local heart surgeon who was the 2nd owner. It was sparingly driven, lways a southern car and always garaged. When I purchased the car it was completely stock, earing its original green paint. The car has always been a dry car, ith original panels all around and was the perfect platform for a nicerestomod. It ismechanical andcosmetically very well sorted and ready to be taken to shows, r on long road trips.
Cosmetic work done: Since my purchase I have invested a large sum of money and time to get it to its present condition. A 8 month process that included a complete glass out, own to the metal paint job was performed by a local garage that is very well regarded in its work onclassic cars in my area. No bondo was used on this car, ll shaved holes were cut and welded. Thebelt line trim was shaved as well as the center door trim, umpers and antenna. It received a color change to a PPG paint, ode Mercedes 046 Platinum BlackMetallic. At the same time the exteriorreceived the Ireland Engineering "Turbo" flares with OEM trim as well as the Ireland Engineering slim rear bumper. The front end sports custom grills with hidden HELLA driving lamps and upgraded projector headlights. The interior has a new black carpet kit, nd rebuilt OEM BMW E30 M3 seats with custom sliders.
Perfomance/Mechanical: Mechanically the car is ready for weekend jaunts, r daily driver duty. The previous owner installed a new OEM clutch, s well as a complete rebuild of the original engine. I have done basicmaintenance with oil changes every 6 months/3,000 miles, omplete ignition tuneup (spark plugs, lug wires, istributer), s well as a rebuild of the original radiator. The car drives great whether its in stop and go traffic, r on the highway. It pulls with no hesitation, rakes true and straight, nd rides smooth thanks to complete Bilstein shock/strut and H&R spring combination. All of the suspension bushings are in good shape with no play in the steering and a strong feel in turns thanks to the Ireland EngineeringPerformanceswaybar kit. It rides on 15x8 0et XXR Wheels and Kumho Tires with less than 5,000 miles.
Feel free to ask me any questions about the car. It is listed locally, s well on the 2002FAQ Forums.
More than willing to help assist with shipping.
