Description of 1985 BMW 6-Series

The Old Oregon Motor Company presents:

1985 BMW 635CSi. Cinnabar Red/Black leather. This 635 is a clean 5-speed example with maintenance records dating back 26 years. The 2nd owner purchased the car in 1989 and has enjoyed it regularly over the last twenty-six years, ogging around 100k miles behind the wheel and always keeping it garaged and properly maintained. The car has a stock drivetrain and comes with its original wheels. It has benefited from over $4k in maintenance this past year in preparation for sale. The car has remained in the mild Pacific Northwest since new and the history file is over an inch thick with receipts and invoices for all work done. The car has 143k miles but the lovely condition belies those miles and it shows very attentive ownership overall. The Cinnabar Red paint is all original and has a deep shine. The black plastic moldings have very little fading and the chrome bumpers and trim all look clean and complete. The original metric bottle cap wheels are included in the sale and are pictured below, hough the owner recently fitted a set of new 18-inch TSW five-spoke aftermarket rims wrapped in new 235/40 Hankook rubber. The black leather interior is original and is very well-preserved. The OEM stereo is the only non-operational feature (it could be something simple) but all other items work as they should including power adjustable seats, ide mirrors and sunroof. The headliner has been recently replaced, he dashboard is crack free, nd the center console is equally clean with no broken plastic. The A/C has been serviced and converted to R134a and blows cold. The torquey 3.5-liter straight six makes good power and records show that it was been routinely serviced since new. The car has received a number of recent maintenance items including a new fan clutch and slave cylinder, ew brakes, nd new a master cylinder. Under the hood, he engine compartment looks nicely detailed with factory stickers still in place. The underbody looks clean and with recent maintenance the new owner can start adding miles immediately. This CSi is another great example of a garage-kept Pacific Northwest car. Our climate is quite mild, ithout the intense sunlight that ages these older cars before their time. This car looks, uns, nd drives like a car with half as many miles. Beautifully cared for...don't miss it! Please call Bill Penny at (503) 209-5510 to answer all your questions!
