1988 BMW 528e Black 4 Door 6 CYL

This is a 1988 BMW 528E. I hate to part with it but at this time I can't afford the upkeep or invest any more time into it. I have had this for about 6-7 years and it's been a great car but now it needs work by anyone who knows these types of cars.

Currently it has a coolant leak from one of the hoses and the oil pan gasket does have a slow leak as well. It will also need a new timing belt and water pump this year.

The odometer stopped at 132,000 miles and by estimate has around 195,000/200,000 miles or so. Its starts and runs fine.

This is what I have invested into it:

5 years ago: rebuilt the motor.

3 years ago: replace with a rebuilt transmission.

2 years ago: new radiator, lternator, attery, ear driver's axle, ront end suspension and control arms, ear brakes and rotors, ires.

1 year ago: new front brakes, otors, alipers and hoses, vacuation tank, iper arm motor, ront struts, ounts, oot on passenger side (never got to replace the driver's side but have all the parts).

The front bumper is cracked but I have a replacement in storage, he rear has minor crack.

Windshield has a 12" crack dead center.

Needs new 02 sensor as it failed emissions.

General rusting around panels and doors but I know someone who has all exterior parts for this car.

This would make a great project for any restoration.
