Description of 1991 BMW 5-Series

You are viewing a rare 525 BMW. There are a lot of 525I 91 BMW's available but you would not find many with a 5 speed transmission. most will have a automatic transmission. I bought the car as a project car but have had little time in the past few years to continue working on the car so it is time to pass it off to someone who can finish the project. The car has been re-plumbed for the turbo with an added inter-cooler. The turbo was rebuilt and has less than 30. 00 miles on it. When I originally bought the car the owner before had no inter-cooler and had a dryer hose connected to the air filter. The tires/wheels are 18" which came off of a 745. The clutch is a ceramic clutch with a light weigh aluminum flywheel. Exhaust is a remus exhaust system. Body kit was added to the car but the body shop did not use a good system to mount the kit but it is an easy fix. Body has some paint chips in the front area of the car which BMW's are known for and there is a scratch on the drivers rear door. The rest of the body is in good shape with no damage. Brakes have been upgraded to slotted and drilled rotors with new pads for a firm brake pedal. The car runs and drives and is pretty quick for little engine work.
