1988 E30 M3, California car, S14 Engine, 17 inch OEM E36 M3 wheels, no performance modifications, original steering wheel included, owners books, stamped maintenance book, original window sticker, BMW introduced the E30 M3 (Moch 3) model in 1986, mostly because the German manufacturer wanted to homologate it for Group A Touring Car racing. The M3 was fitted with a 2.3L 4-inline engine delivering 200 hp and was used by many motorsport teams from rallying to DTM. When the car was discontinued, it had already won several touring championships throughout the world or historical races. Roughly 15,000 examples of the first generation M3s were built between 1986 and 1992. The racing lineage is not the only reason the E30 M3 is a crowd favorite. These BMW are well know for their reliability, comfort and flared aggressive styling.This 1988 Alpine White M3 coupe is an excellent driver. It has been a Northern California it's entire life and was originally sold by Peter Pan Motors in San Mateo. The stamped maintenance book combined with service records and a clean Carfax confirms it has been regularly serviced by reputable local dealers. The only modification is the wheels which have been swapped for a set of 17" E36 M3 wheels (original wheels not available).
