This is a beautiful example of a Europeanspec 1984 BMW M635 CSI. The henna red over pearl beige interior is a very desirable color combination.The M88/1 engine was modified for use in the M635CSI, this engine was known as the M88/3.The Kugelfisher fuel injection was replaced with Bosch Motronic and the engine produced 286hp (213kW) and 251 ft lbs of torque.It has a compression ratio of 10.5:1. Five speed manual transmission. This vehicle runs and drives excellent. This M635 CSI has all original body panels as well as original paint job and interior. Vehicle was imported to the united states in Octoberof 1984. Servicerecords from 1991 to current included. BMW Motorsportintroduced theM 635 CSiinEuropeat theFrankfurt Motor Showin 1983. It is essentially an E24 powered by the powerplant of theBMW M1- theM88. Most of the cars were equipped with special metric 415mm diameter wheels requiring Michelin TRX tires. |
