Description of 1993 BMW 7-Series

We are selling our 1993 BMW 740iL which has only 66,000 plus miles on it. I bought this car with the intention of giving it to my daughter for college but she feels that it is too big for her and as a result I am, very reluctantly, listing it for sale. The car is advertised locally.I spent about 2 years looking for the right e32 BMW to buy for my daughter. My main requirement was to find a car that had documented maintenance done by a BMW dealership. There are many independent BMW garages but these garages are not held to the same standard as a main BMW dealership when it comes to repair work. I passed up on a lot of BMWs that did not have a full service history from the dealership. Most car owners do not keep the documentation or paperwork of work performed on their cars. I finally came across this car which had a unique history. It was owned by a female doctor in PA who bought it new from a B!W dealership in 1993. She drove it until her husband died in2004 at which point she stored the car. Prior to storing the car she had the car serviced and the odometer showed 65597 miles on it at this maintenance check. The car currently has 66780 miles on it. The doctor sold or gave the car to the person who used to drive her family car in January of 2017. He registered the car in his name so that he could sell it and then I bought it from him in March of 2017. Thecar will show 3 owners because of the history listedabove, however, the mileage indicates that neither myself or the doctors driver did not drive the vehicle more than a total of 800 miles since we independently had title to the car. This car was in storage for more than 13 years and is like it came out of a time capsule.
Since I bought the car the following had to be done to it in order to have it at a suitable standard for my daughter:1. Full exterior and interior valet2. Alternator D+ exciter wire replaced, battery was not getting a charge due to broken exciter wire3. Replace seal around engine bay4. Replace seal around coil packs lid5. Replace roof interior roof lining6. Install new splash guard underneath engine7. Repair passenger seat which was twisting due to disconnected wire8. Recondition all leather surfaces
As you can see from the above, everything to get the car to a high standard was very minor. The car now looks and runs fantastically. Here are a list of the items that have been repaired on this car during its well documented history

The BMW scheduled oil changes were all completed on this car and all Service Stamps are In her Owners Manual. What makes this car more unique is that it was bought at the same dealership which did its service during its entire lifespan. The owners manual has all the cards, codes and information that was originally given with the car. None of the pages are creased or torn. The owners cassette is included and was never used.
The interior of this car is amazing. The leather if what I would describe as flawless. There are no marks, tears or rips on the seats. The carpeting has no marks or soil stains. There are no areas of wear on the car. The body has no rust or dents. The doors are all perfectly aligned with the body. The spare tire was never used nor was the spare tool kit. The female doctor owner had a BMW issued medical kit installed under the front passenger seat, I moved it to the rear center armrest storage area. There is a BMW umbrella with the car. The BMW floor mats are in very good condition. The door cards are not damaged in any way nor do they have marks. All interior and exterior light work. The car even has the 7 series BMW sales brochure from 1993, the original window sticker, the 7 series color option guide and the 1993 BMW Accessories brochure, all in like new condition. Also have two remote Fobs, 2 keys and a valet key.
Ideally this car will go to a BMW enthusiast because of its documented maintenance history. The car is in 9/10 condition. I had listed this car on eBay in the past but the buyer could not follow through on the sale. Because of this I will need anyone with an eBay feedback of less than 10 to contact me prior to my accepting their bids. This is a no reserve auction with the starting price reflecting the condition of the car.
I genuinely do not think that there is another e32 BMW on the market today in this kind of condition, with this fully documented maintenance history and with such a cherished past.
I had listed this car recently on eBay but withdrew it because one morning I noticed a leak underneath it. I had it taken to the garage and was told that a line to the rear suspension control valve was leaking. I had all 3 lines to the control valve replaced and system tests normal. There is no reserve on this sale.
I have the title in my name.
