Description of 1990 BMW 3-Series

This 1990 BMW 325i is an extensively modified car that my good friend acquired in 2016. He loves the car but has taken a different career path that has required him to travel frequently. This doesn't afford him enough time to enjoy this car so after about a year of storing it in his garage, he has decided to let it go.
This is a highly upgraded car that I am helping sell for a friend. After searching for about a year, he came across this E30. The previous owner had a good running S52B32 motor transplanted along with the close ratio ZF Transmission that came standard on E36 BMW M3s. The power is channeled through a 2.93 limited-slip differential, and the suspension was transplanted from a combination of E36 M3 and Z3 parts to create a 5 lug bolt pattern. This has the added benefit of allowing the E30 to except a much larger selection of aftermarket and factory BMW Wheels. In addition, this car is riding on H&R springs with Bilstein sport shocks. Currently this car has the 17" M3 factory wheels and near new Sumitomo 215 45 tires with about 150 miles on them. The car currently has 144,xxx miles on the clock that is reportedly original. The engine mileage is unknown but believed to be around 100,000. Also installed in the last year is a new battery.
The AC was retained in the conversion and is functional, as is the electric cooling fan. The cat however was deleted so if a smog is required in your city, then you'll have to have a cat fitted.
Other mods noted are poly transmission bushings, custom headers, strut brace and Bimmerworld intake bellow. This car also feels like it has an upgraded clutch. I couldn't verify this but the pedal effort is increased over stock although it engages and shits smoothly.
The exterior of this car was as some point resprayed in the original Bronzit BMW color and looks really good from a short distance away. Upon further inspection you can see some flaws. There's a few dings and some scratches that I tried to note in the pictures. it's not terrible, but it's also not a show car finish. The car was purchased without a radio as shown but has the speakers and wiring for easy hookup.
The interior is decent with very clean carpet. The dash is really good condition overall with one small crack noted on the passenger side. There is a very small tear on the headliner as well. The seats are in good condition with no rips or tears but the vinyl on the seat backs are slightly pulled away from the backing. It could be easily repaired by pulling the material back and gluing it back down with some 3M adhesive spray. everything else in the interior appears to be clean with no weird musty smells.
Mechanically, the car runs solid. The most recent service was a driveline rebuild. The rear U-joint was stiff causing a bit of vibration. This repair was done about a month ago and included a new center bearing. The car runs and shifts through the gears nicely but could use new shifter bushings to tighten up the shift lever action. There's also an abs light on although the brakes do perform well.
If you have any questions, please ask as early as possible before the end of the auction.
