| 1978 BMW BAVARIA2. 8 L MANUAL TRANSMISSION Plenty of pictures to enjoy. A Real Classic Standing Time. A real time capsule in such a good condition. with a 6 in-line 2. 8L engine. Was purchased in California 2 years ago. The Bavaria was a US-only model that BMW had marketed for its outstanding engine and suspension as well as for its value. The 6-cylinder engine was designed by Baron Alexander von Falkenhausen. a racing legend and the architect of the New Class engines. It was a Hemi-head engine — a triple hemispheric. swirl-action combustion chamber cylinder head — to be precise. With an overhead camshaft. and a crankshaft that has 7 main bearings and 12 balance weights. 192 HP with a 4 Speed Manual Transmission. New paint job. Every single light inside and out or electrical part all working as expected. Odometer shows 29k miles. Aftermarket sound system with a nice amp installed. the bad we lost the front face for the Cd player. Rpm needle is missing. Front Kidney grills have a small dent. Will need new all around doors weatherstrip seals All windows roll up and down. Windshield wipers work but nozzles missing.
