Description for BMW Isetta 1957

My collection of four 1957 Isetta 300 coupes - including 7 XL totes of new and used parts for restoration:
Car 1 - Two tone deluxe body (trim separating colors); body is sandblasted/ready for body work (rust repair) and then paint. Floor has been cut out and a new floor section with battery box is setting inside. Frame beneath is fully restored and includes an original BMW rebuilt engine and transmission, complete and bolted in. Final drive is in and setting on reconditioned rims and new tires. Needs one front strut installed (included in parts box). Brakes have been redone. Comes with all glass, trim, door, seat frames, linkages, dash, and most parts to restore. Inside the car is a new chrome exhaust pipe complete with heater box, several sets of linkage, body trim, widow trim, gas tank, and unrestored nerf bars bumpersCar 2 - Yellow body with some of the interior still in place. Needs battery box and some rust & dent repair, but much less than 1st Car. Probably the easiest of all the bodies to restore. Front door is still installed, set of all window glass and most parts to restore are included. The frame beneath is a Chadwick unit - needs some dressing up but is in great shape and very low use. Inside the car is the seat, steering wheel, dash, linkages, an old front bumper (rough) and a new front bumper (chrome), sunroof hardware, a (very hard to find) original rear package shelf rack set, gas tank, and other miscellaneous. Original floor has been replaced by previous owner. Car 3 - Blue car - roller, looks mostly complete. Was told it was "running" when parked but looks pretty rough…
Car 4 - White (& rust) car; roller car with no interior, glass or engine. Final drive still present. Has a very good front door but otherwise rough body.Tote 1 -New & used parts - wiring harness, new steering / suspension bushings, tail light assembly, used brake assembly, spare brake drum, powder coated rims (original split), New tire tubes (10"), and more.Tote 2 - New & used parts - 2 sets or headlight buckets (one for 1st Car and a spare set), new headlights, new door weatherstrip, new rear body luggage rack, tail lights, rock guards, chain drive & chain, used front shock/strut set, and more…Tote 3 -New & used parts - Original nerf bars, new chrome nerf bars, engine shrouds, restores gas tank, and more…Tote 4 -New & used parts - New fuel petcock, new front body seal, original mirrors, hub caps, steering wheel, wiring and several dash sets, original speedometer, sunroof parts, door hardware, wiper motors, shift lever, cables, steering shaft/linkage, original visor, and more..Tote 5 -New & used parts - This box has too much to list - mostly new or high quality restoration component - new nerf bars, several original speedometers, a new repop speedometer, new beauty rims, new hub caps, new white walls for tires, new door hardware (handle and hinges), new badges, decals, new horn button, new sunroof fabric, nice original steering wheel, powdercoated rims, new heater horn, new switches (turn & dimmer, new weatherstrip, new control cables, new ivory colored knob, new body seal (paint) set and more.Tote 6 -New & used parts - Engine parts, trans mission parts, suspension parts, engine gaskets, Dynastart generator/ starter, side window rubber channels, and more…Tote 7 -Shallow tote with used parts - sunroof mechanism, heater air horn, mud flaps, cables and linkage, and moreAlso have several full sets of glass, Have a front door, sunroof top section, rear body section, windows and trim, several body panels from a red Isetta which was too chopped up to restore; extra seat frames, engine bay doors, extra engine blocks, transmissions, final drives, and misc. other….
Have 2 titles - one for the 1st Car (New York - from 2001, with new body VIN tag) and one for another of the bodies (Tennessee).
Also have several books and manuals on restoration of Isettas and components (Dynastart, carbs, etc.), have receipts for engine and transmission work, brake work, and many other parts for 1st Car.This collection has taken years to accumulate - now realizing I will not get around to getting these done. A great opportunity for some very unique automobiles.
