Description of 1994 BMW 3-Series 325i Convertible |
| I've driven this car all over California in the last 3 years and put on about 28. 00 miles. It's a daily driver. well-maintained. reliable. and fun. The car has been in my family since about 1998 when my 1st cousin purchased it. I will miss this car when it sells because there aren't any too many convertibles like it for under $2. 00. I'm also including a perfectly sized car cover (new in 2012) and jumper cables. Built in Germany in July 1993. this rear-wheel drive. 325iCA (E36) weighs in at 4266 lbs. 325iCa M50 engine 6 cylinder 192 HP The convertible top can be retracted manually by one person in about 20 seconds. The top is newer. it was replaced 4-5 years ago. It looks so good. that the owner of a local BMW shop was impressed with it and wondered where the work was done! The car is narrow and short. making it easy to fit into parking spaces many other cars can't. It has seating for four in addition to a small pet. Water pump was replaced several months ago along with some essential improvements like new hoses. ($900 parts & labor) New tires were installed about 13. 00 miles ago and it has free rotation or replacement for 60. 00 miles. The trunk is small compared to most cars. but with the convertible top down you have unlimited head room as well as free trunk space (something to keep in mind if you want to carry some longboards to the beach)This is a 21 year-old car which was very advanced for it's time. When the windshield wipers are in fast mode and you come to a stop sign or light. the wipers slow down too. The computer works. giving accurate MPG readings. average speed. timer. Date and time. I never figured out the distance or memo features. You can easily set the date. time and reset any other setting. -It does not give an accurate outside temperature reading and apparently has not done so for many years according to the previous owner (about 9 years ago). Interior cosmetic issues are normal with this model. (BMW was made by engineers. for engineers)Minor body scratches. light door dents. Interior door panels are original and need to be repaired and/or replaced. Driver Seat has tears. seat backs do not recline on either side (gear needs to be replaced) Seat Motors work well - up/down & back forward (diagonal too)Missing hood emblem/badge and one tire emblem/badge. Two wheels have dents in them (from previous owner before 2006)Windshield has small chip (1/4 inch) New windshield was replaced last year. Driver side door has issues with lock sticking. door needs to be pulled up on as exterior handle is used. (sometimes needs to be opened from inside)All locks work well. When the trunk is locked. both doors simultaneously lock too. This 1994 BMW ultimate driving machine comes with two keys.
