Description of 1957 BMW Isetta

You are bidding on a 1957 BMW Isetta 300 sliding window deluxe coupe(US model) project micro car. showing 16. 29 miles and believed to be original. We believe the original color to be blue. floor pan shows some original blue. Equipped with it's windshield wiper. visors. front door vents. defroster vent. front bumper guards. rear bumper guards and hubcaps. This car has been sitting for many years and will need it's motor(currently not running). fuel system. transmission and brake system restored. The motor does not run but. the crank spins freely. The car rolls easily. All of the windows slide open and closed smoothly and the front door opens and latches closed. All of the glass is clear with no cracks or breaks. The steering system moves left to right freely. The electrical system has not been checked but. appears to be complete as shown in pictures. The left front inner fender is solid with no holes as shown in the pictures. The right front inner fender has two small rust holes. The one hole is in front of the tire and the other hole is on the inside of the wheel well. The battery tray has rust holes in it and will need repair work. the rear of the car has no visible rust holes but. there is a dent between the tail lights and on the left rear quarter panel shown in the pictures. The driver side floor pans of the car seems to be less rusty than the passenger side. Overall. the floor and the frame seem to be relatively solid as shown in the pictures. The sunroof opens. closes and latches. Known Items missing: 2 hubcaps. Interior fiberboard panels. Spare tire and jack. A great micro car project.
