1976 BMW 530i Background Welcome to the opportunity to purchase a truly rare and unique car! This BMW will last forever and take you on a wild ride across this beautiful country. The BMW was acquired from the original owner who purchased it new in 1976 and now has been my daily driver. Unfortunately I have moved to Downtown Portland, Oregon and I do not need a vehicle as much. This is a proven reliable vehicle and it is your turn to take this master piece and enjoy it for the rest of your life. Body and Interior The body, frame, chassis, and rails are straight and solid. It's a very reliable easy to maintain car that gets you anywhere you need. The interior is original and in mint condition. The beautiful Malga paint shines like new. Engine and Transmission This BMW is powered by a very strong and desired 6 cylinder fuel injected engine paired with a 4 speed manual transmission that works flawlessly. It can handle freeway speeds and is a blast in the canyon. Odometer reads 81,000 miles and yes that is accurate. If you know this engine they will last a lifetime. Wear and Tear This BMW is very clean and probably the cleanest 530i out there. This 530i is like a time capsule and I have never seen anything like it. There is no rust. The driver side tail light is cracked but replacement lens will be here in 3 days. Small scratch on rear fender. Title and Registration I have a clean Oregon title and registration is good until November 2020. It’s a very unique car unlike others on the market. It has been regularly maintained. Runs and drives great, is fun to drive and ready to enjoy as-is. It has loads of character that's hard to duplicate. I have represented the BMW to the best of my ability. The BMW is being sold as is.
