VINTAGE 1957 BMW ISETTA. This is what your finished restoration could look like when you get done with restoring this one! This is not finished, the main photo is what this one could look like. Everybody is looking for a project! I might be moving and don't want to take this one with me. I started on it years ago and never finished it. Too many other projects. The chassis has been rebuilt. New Coker whitewall tires x5 (cost $750), New shocks, brakes, rubber parts, nuts bolts.... rear end rebuilt. Rechromed parts include all front and rear bumpers, nerf bars, 4 light rings, speedo ring, door hinges, door handle, (cost $775 total), rubber pads, and a new set of hub caps. The body needs some sheet metal work as always with these old cars and a fresh coat of paint. The engine was rebuilt by Isettasrus (cost $3600) and the carb rebuilt by Bing. It's just waiting for someone to come along and finish it. There is already $5125 in new stuff bought for this plus other things not figured like shocks, brakes rear end rebuild... If you found one of these on EBay you would probably be paying 7 to 10 K without any new parts or rebuilt, rechromed stuff. Are you the person to get er done!
