BMW 6-Series. Hello. Today we’re selling my wife’s 1985 BMW 635csi Coupe with 103,597 original miles. It’s a 3rd owner coupe purchased by my wife in September 2005. Yes, this is my "wife’s car" and she has been the sole owner and driver since 2005 when she acquired it from the 2nd owner. The car has been in heated storage and unregistered from late 2008 to early 2017. From 2002 – 2020, 10,500 miles have been put on the car (500 miles/ year average) The CarFax, which is available for viewing, supports this detail. In Spring 2020, the car went through an extensive reconditioning from storage so it could be driven a bit for the summer. This includes a new battery, all fluids, brakes, and exhaust and many other items. The exterior features include a refinished front spoiler. Factory 15″ metric wheels are period correct and installed. a 3.4-liter inline-six and mated to a (relatively rare) five-speed manual transmission, it is finished in Graphite Metallic 087 (original paint) over black leather in excellent condition without rips and equipped with sport seats, fog lamps, an M-Tech steering wheel, and a working sunroof. The interior features full working sport seats with individually-adjustable thigh supports and headrests. Embroidered (OE) BMW floor mats cover the carpets. Heavy wear is visible on the leather steering cover which is easily replaceable. Additionally, there are no cracks in the dash pad anywhere. The car has never been in an accident. We have one original factory key, factory literature, a clean Illinois title in the seller's name. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows just under 103,597k original miles. However, this summer the odometer stopped working approximately 25 miles ago. This E24 is rust free, very original and in really fine shape with 3 decades of documentation. All service has been performed by a local Mercedes/BMW independent mechanic since 1993 as indicated by the service records and an interview with the mechanic can be arranged if desired.
