I've sadly forced to part with my E30. It's a 1991 318i convertible that has been given an M20 engine from a 325i. Five speed manual transmission and 132k on the odometer. Not sure how many miles on the engine (swap was done by previous owner) but it runs smooth and strong. Black exterior with black interior. Manual top. It's a great, fun car in good working condition. Shifting is clean and crisp. Not a show car but a great cruiser. In the years I have owned it I have replaced or upgraded nearly every part in some way. Bilstein shocks. New H&R springs front and rear. Recent paint, new top. New Radiator, New Master Cylinder, New Driveshaft Center Support Bearing, converted AC to r134a. New short shifter from Z3. Front seats were reupholstered in leather and in good condition with new shocks. All windows work. Nice floor mats from cocomats.com. Loads and loads of new seals and gaskets (will include several not yet installed). New driver's door key and lock. BBS reps on Costco tires with plenty of tread (def could use a tire upgrade). Great Kenwood aftermarket stereo (no CD) with Bluetooth phone and amp mounted in trunk. Great sound for a vert. Cool Euro style backseat with headrests. Garagistic X brace underneath. Euro analog clock. All recent work was done by Castro Motorsports in LA. Many many thousands spent getting it to good working order. Was daily driver for 6 months last year and loved it (but needed something more practical for kids). This is a 30 year old car so there are quirks and things that aren't working. Currently speedometer is not working. Power mirrors do not power. Small cracks in dash. Missing plastic "pocket" on driver's door. Chrome window trim has been wrapped in black but can be easily unwrapped. Couple tiny dings here and there. BBS sticker missing from passenger front wheel cap. Comes with several manuals and the windscreen seen in photos. Happy to assist with long distance shipping. |
