| Here is your opportunity to buy a rare and desirable BMW. This 1979 635csi is not hampered by a catalytic converter which the American version has. The car has been in Colorado and family owned for twenty years. The new engine (which was installed 10+ years ago) has 5000 miles on it.The Good: the car is still incredibly powerful and runs quite well new tires the internals are in great working order transmission is still very strong classic BMW shark nose desirable Euro-Spec bumpers just replaced shifter linkage just driven weekends.The work: As with all old BMW there is rust that has collected in all the typical locations such as wheel wells floor pans and fenders. Fuel lines are in need of replacement the window switches need to be replaced Windshield needs to be replaced driver side seat has wear sway bar bushing needs to be replaced paint is chipping in some locations right foglight was been broken left taillight has been broken as well. The rest of the seating is in good condition. |
