Description of 1963 Buick Skylark 215/200HP 4 BBL V8 COUPE 63k Miles

I would like to have my Skylark go to a good home. I purchased her about a year and a half ago from the original owner. My intentions were to restore and drive her to my car club events. Now I have decided to sell her because I am now planning to downsize and move. I have not had time to enjoy driving her and could use the garage space over the winter. I have more that nine thousand dollars wrapped up in this car and realize I will take a loss. The reserve is set at the lowest I will accept. If it does not sell at this auction. I will purchase a cover and keep her. When I looked at this car the odometer showed 62. 00 miles. After looking her over carefully. it appeared to be the original miles driven. I could not speak to the owner as he was in a nursing home at the time. The neighbor told me the skylark had not been used for several years and had been stored in the garage. The Buick was covered in dust but no rust rust! I had her towed to my mechanic and had quite a bit of work done to get her back on the road. The work included: clean fuel tank and lines. rebuild carb. new plugs. new fuel pump. new battery. rebuilt power brake booster. master cylinder. wheel cylinders. nbsp;muffler. u joint. lower ball joints. motor mount. and tires. I then had her painted since the original paint was dull and I wanted to fix a dent in the back fender and also on the hood. There was no rust repair needed before the paint job of the original color combination of teal and white. The engine is a V8 215 cu. in. with the 4brl carb which produces 200 horsepower. The two speed automatic transmission. power steering. power brakes all work as they should for having 62. 00 miles. The interior is in great condition except for a tear in driver side armrest. driver seat and small tear in the headliner. All the lights. signals. horn. nbsp;heater and fan work fine. The interior color is light blue cloth and vinyl with a teal carpet. The am radio does work if antenna is connected. The antenna was lost at the body shop. The cigar lighter works but clock does not. The floors and trunk are solid. The only rust is a small spot about two by three inches at the bottom of the driver side wheel well (see pic). Included are a spare tire. jack assembly and a repair manual. Window glass is clear and windows all work fine. Chrome is in very good condition. Wheels are thirteen inch with original wheel covers. It now has a new Pennsylvania safety inspection sticker which expires in December 2015. Clear PA. Title in hand. Located in Langhorne. Pennsylvania. Thanks for Bidding!
