Description of 1970 Buick Riviera Gran Sport

1970 Riviera GS 455 Solid Car 21k Original Survivor. 21,969 actual miles. 455ci / 370hp. Garage parked since 1978. Still has the factory Redlines, hough they are dry rotted."The 70 riviera gs came with the following as standard equipment:Heavy duty suspension,(includes different shocks,springs,heavy duty track bar),3.42 posi rear,Chrome air cleaner and H78-15 white wall tires as H78-15 black wall was standard. You could order wide oval H70-15 red line tires."Starts on first turn of the key. Strong running. Easily smokes the tires & is fast!. Very nice interior.An optional vinyl bench seat with a fold down armrest was availableStrato bench with armrest. ( Small spot from a cigarette on passenger side) . Column shift. Oil changed.Water pump,hoses,belts,brake & fuel lines have been replaced to rear axle. Fuel pump (electric, n tank) & gas tank removed & cleaned. Heater vacuum hoses replaced. I bought skirts for it as they were missing. Some amateur bodywork on passenger side quarter panel & small dent in driver's door. Very solid body with a little rust where the paint is cracked on hood & trunk.D/S tail light lens is cracked.Solid all the way around the bottom of doors,rockers,fenders & 1/4 panels.Very nice clean vinyl top. No cracks. A little bit of rust on front of dash on passenger side as shown. Everything works though heater blower is intermittent & may be a relay. I have not charged the air conditioning. Spare tire cover (not shown) is included. It is in very good condition. Jack is complete. May be missing the threaded part to hold down the spare tire. Top piece is there. Also included is a new trunk rubber seal.
