DESCRIPTIONThis is an all original 1986 Buick Grand National T-Top with 24,046 total miles. This GN is a factory original, actory correct car except for a few maintenance, nd GM Tech Bulletin changes, s described below. The overall condition is excellent, s described in "condition #2" in the Haggerty Classic Car Valuation Scale.
OWNER HISTORY AND MILEAGE6/19/86: GN delivered/transferred by a GM Certificate of Origin to Favata Buick in Mount Vernon, Y.
6/26/86; GN purchased at 5 miles on the odometer by the 1st owner who lived in New Rochelle, Y. 1st owner kept GN 17 years and 24,556 miles.
8/28/03: GNsold/transferred to the 2nd owner in Telford, Awith 24,556 miles.The 2nd owner kept the car in dry garage storage for a little over a year,andaccumulated an additional 171 miles showing 24,727 miles on the odometer.
10/08/04: GN sold to the 3rd owner in Maryland with 24,727 miles. The car is titled in MD, nd stored in dry garage storage in Stevensville, span> 21666.GNcurrently shows 25,046 miles, aving accumulated an additional 319 miles by the 3rd owner.

INTERIORFactory new condition. Sagging headliner was replaced with correct fitted GM fabric. The vinyl dash cover is in mint un-cracked condition. Seat fabric and carpet is like new. Vinyl and plastic surfaces are in mint condition.
WEATHER SEALSThe driver and passenger window seals, nd all 5 of the T-Top seals have been replaced with factory correct rubber.
ENGINE COMPARTMENTRecent through detailing completed and GN underhood compartment is stock, orrect, nd outstanding in appearance, ith a factory new and fresh look. The black hood insulation is showing some age fading/discoloring, ut is in very good condition.
UNDERBODY-FRAME-GAS TANKVery good condition but showing surface rust on the factory correct suspension and frame, hich were unpainted at the factory. More importantly, here is no rust-through or rot on the frame, uspension, r body. The gas tank was drained, leaned and inspected by the 3rd owner who found tank interior to be in mint condition. There are no modifications to the suspension or under-body. The original factory front spoiler dam, nd air intake scoop and screen are intact, ndamaged, nd correctly installed.
EXTERIOR PAINT AND TRIMGood condition and complete. This car was a dealer repaint after delivery years ago due to poor factory paint. Over the years this car has been buffed and polished to the point where the finish is mirror-like and the car presents itself very well. There is some subtle paint finish "see through" indicating minor pin-striping bythe original owner. This indetectible, nless pointed out and cannot be seen in a photo. This car has never been in a collision. The bumper fillers have been refinished with the more durable fiberglass replacements. There are a few minor dings and some very small paint bubbling/cracks at inconspicuous points. Pictures in this listing attempt to cover the exterior completely for the benefit of bidders. Given the age of the paint, verall it looks very good; much of it is 8/9 out of 10. However, t is over 25 years old and is not a "perfect 10" . TIRES, UFFLERS, RAKESThe tires were replaced with factory correct style(stock size/brand) by the 2nd owner and have run approximately 500 miles. The Powermaster brake system has been updated per factory tech bulletins regarding defective hydro-pressure switch(replaced original black unit with revised gray) and defective iron pressure distribution block in the brake line(replaced with factory brass unit). Rotors/pads/shoes/drums are untouched originals. Cat converter, uffler, ipes are correct and in very good shape.DRIVEABILITY AND INSTRUMENTATION This car drives as brand new. The engine performs smoothly and powerfully,and the transmission shifts firmly. The AM/FM/Cassette radio works and sounds perfect, nd the automatic antenna operates correctly. The rear window electric defroster operates per spec. Power windows and door locks operate per spec. All instruments are factory correct and operate as required. The heater a/c systems are factory correct in operation except that the a/c is not up to cooling spec. The a/c has not been put to normal use by the last two owners; therefore, t is believed a/c service by new owner will be needed.
