Description of 1956 Buick Roadmaster

Im listing this car for a friend of mine in our local car Club, owever I am familiar with this car so if questions are asked feel free to email me and I will get back to you including more pictures if needed. What we have here is a really nice original 56 Buick Roadmaster that came through the assembly line fully loaded with about every extra that could be put on a Buick at the time. It has been used very little its entire life, ileage is low and it has never been used in winter months. This car is as solid as the day it was made. That means no rust problems. This car came thru the assembly line with the following extras: Tinted glass all around, ower Steering, ower Brakes, lectric Windows and they all work, ower Seat, onder Bar Radio with foot control, lectric fuel pump for high altitude driving in mountainous areas along with the mechanical fuel pump, padded dash, nd the best thing of all factory Air Conditioning, ight now it is low on freon but the owner has all the stuff needed to change it over to 134a which goes with the car.The motor compartment is very clean and the motor runs super good nice and quiet, oes not smoke or have any blow by. The transmission shifts as it should nice and solid. The rear is is quiet with no growls, nbsp; The power brakes stop it good and even. The owner says steering feels like a Buick Should. All the lights work except for the two directional bulbs in the dash and the headlight light switch could used replacement, ut the headlights work fine. He has a new headlight switch and bulbs that go with the car. But neither of us can get under the dash because of our backs and size to change them.As you will see by the pictures the interior is in wonderful shape and when you factor its age its unbelievable. The headliner and seats have no rip or tears, hey still have great color and same with the dash and dash pad. You just dont see original stuff like this much anymore. The exterior has had one repaint as their were a few scratches and dull spots and the owner wanted it freshen up and that was done a few years ago. The chrome and stainless still have great shine and I see no rust on the chrome, ires are excellent. The trunk is very clean also. What more can I say, ere is a great old car that is truly a survivor that can be enjoyed by its next owner with great pride. original cars like this dont come along that often and I consider this one quite rare with all the extras that it came along with down the assembly line. Look at the pictures they pretty well tell the story. one picture shows a box in the back seat of many manuals, ooks and articles on this car that also go with car.
