1990 Buick Reatta with 72630 Miles

Though all Reattas are “loaded”, his one has all available options: Sunroof, 6 Way Seats, ody Colored Moldings and CD player along with all the standard Reatta features.

I honestly don’t think you’ll find a better low mileage 1990 Reatta Coupe out there. I have the original Craftsman’s Book and Log Sheet the 2 original keyfob remotes which are working! (I have another that also works) and any service receipts that I had (it was serviced at the Buick dealership). This Reatta gets more attention than any exotic car I’ve had.

It shifts and stops as it should and the air blows cold (it’s been converted).It is a really stunning, xcellent driving car that I would put up against any modern luxury vehicle in terms of driving comfort. I’m just out of room and need the space.

I purchased this Reatta in May of 2012 with 45819 miles on it. I bought it from a used car dealership that said they got it from the original owner who was a friend of the owner of the dealership. The owner of the dealership was fond of it and used it to attract attention to their lot. I was told the car was never driven in rain or snow (I believe it because there was no rust to speak of at all). There was a scrape on the front bumper (plastic part, nly paint affected) when I bought it, ther than that it was immaculate.

I have continued to baby the car and keep it garaged and covered.

Things I’ve done since I’ve owned the car: Drive it (though it was mostly my fair weather only car too), I had the bumpers repainted as soon as I bought the car (the original factory PPG Paint with hand painted pinstripes shine like it did in the showroom), light window tinting, ad the cassette player rebuilt, ad the CD player rebuilt, replace horn buttons, eplaced shifter vinyl,

installed a cup holder (in the center console), eplaced all bulbs, nstalled two headlight motor kits, eplace automatic antenna, installed upgraded door speakers in factory location, 4 wheel alignment,

2 tires, lushed brake fluid twice, eplaced brake lines, brake job, ew water pump, lushed transmission fluid new tranny filter and gasket, ew oil pan gasket, ew air filters, efinished steering wheel, yed carpet, eplaced oil pressure sender, ought and installed 4 NOS wheel centers and changed oil with Synthetic Blend oil every 4 to 4.5k miles.

Pretty much any issue that a Reatta would have has been addressed. The only things worth noting are the trunk lock works with the remote and interior button but not with the key (I always use the remote anyway) and the lumber bladder needs to be replaced if you want to use it (like they all do there is a blood pressure cuff mod) the pump works fine, don’t like extra lumbar support so I left it.

For anyone not familiar with the Buick Reatta, t is a luxurious sports coupe that was produced at the Reatta Craft Centre in Lansing, ichigan and sold by the Buick division of American automaker General Motors from early 1988 to 1991. The Reatta sported its own unique body style. Each one was hand-made with an attention to detail and quality of finish uncommon for a mass-produced automobile.

The Buick Reatta was marketed as a "Hand Crafted Car." Instead of the usual moving assembly line, M organized its work force into small teams. Workers performed dozens of tasks on the cars at various locations known as "Craft Stations," within the plant. The cars were carried between locations by computer-guided carts.
The Reatta was the most expensive Buick made at the time. The car did not sell well because of the expensive price tag. Buick ceased production at the end of the 1991 model year. The Reatta was intended as a halo car for Buick. Almost all power and luxury options Buick had to offer were standard equipment on the Reatta.
