Description of 1949 Buick special series 41

This is a barn find 1949 Buick Special series 41 four door sedan. The car is in 100 percent original condition. The car was warehouse kept for about 20 years and was restored in the 80s. The car has aged well and the normal aging has occurred. The last time I offered this car up, A Buick collector filled me in about exactly what type of Buick this is. After WW2, Buick too parts from pre-war cars and created a kind of hybrid vehicle with older styling different from the 1949 models Buick had come up with. This car has the older fastback styling and trim. All parts are with the car and this car in the perfect condition for a restoration. Original fireball V8 still intact with a 2010 6volt battery. Accessories include fender skirts and spotlights. This is a side opening hood model Buick. A great project with all steel body and very little rust. Straight with no denting. Please feel free to ask questions and I will try give you answers. Fairly rare car up for grabs cheap. Thanks for looking!

One additional detail about the car is that I had the original tires removed from the rims. There are four Coker tires installed and another on the spare Hub. All wheel hubs have been blasted and powdercoated gloss black

car will come with several original documents such as insurance policy from the 60s and a show placard from the man I purchased it from when he was showing it. The car was restored fairly well and the car will be beautiful when brought back to its former elegance.
