Description of 1977 Buick Century Landau

After nearly 40 years. I am downsizing my collection. closing my museum. and moving to smaller quarters. As such. I will be keeping just a couple of my favorite cars! Up for sale is an absolutely STUNNING ALL ORIGINAL UN-RESTORED "SURVIVOR" 1977 Buick Century Custom Landau Sport Coupe! This car was owned by one local family since the time it was new. then spent the rest of its life until now in private collections/museums. It has always been garaged/kept under cover. It is ALL ORIGINAL including paint. interior. chrome. trunk. and under hood. Have all the original books and papers as shown. The 1977 Century Landau is basically the same car as a Buick Regal from that year except it has the NASCAR inspired fiberglass aerodynamic front end treatment as opposed to the chrome bumper and chrome vertical grille found on the Regal. As you may recall. in those days. in order to qualify for NASCAR. a car company also had to make the same styled car available to the general public. That's the reason for the 2 different front end treatments on 2 otherwise identical cars. The Century Landau was built in far fewer numbers than the Regal and is much harder to find today. Car is nicely equipped as follows:1. 350 Buick V82. Automatic Transmission3. Power Steering & Brakes4. COLD Air Conditioning5. Tilt Steering Wheel6. AM/FM Radio7. nbsp; Landau Package consisting of padded roof. deluxe interior. deluxe moldings and bright work. dual sport mirrors and mag wheel discs. This immaculate beauty has just 44. 00 careful miles since new! Original tangerine orange paint still holds a great shine and luster. It is not cracked or chipped up and car does not have the usual "door dings" or "shopping cart rash" that you typically see in almost every used car. Interior is absolutely immaculate. It is not faded or worn. not cracked or ripped. Still smells like new inside. Under hood is still all original. So is trunk. with original mat and spare. Chrome and bright work are bright and shiny. Vinyl top still looks like new! Clearly this car was cared for and lived an easy life. Would actually pass for half the mileage in my opinion. Never wrecked or rusted. Clean underneath. just like on top. Like going back in time and looking at a 2 year old car that was well cared for!Mechanically. this car is awesome. The V8 engine and transmission are smooth. tight. and powerful! Starts instantly and does not hesitate. Steering and suspension are super tight. No rattles or creaks. Drives and handles awesome! Last month. I drove it on a 400 mile trip. got 20MPG. and had no issues whatsoever! Like sitting in your living room. I would drive this beauty anywhere! Doors do not sag and close effortlessly. A/C and heat work well. Drives better than most late model cars I have been in. This really is a museum quality car! This is the best of all worlds. You can take it to car shows and cruise ins. display in your own collection or museum. take it on vintage tours. or if so inclined. use it as a regular vehicle. Much better and much cheaper to buy and own than today's computerized plastic overpriced cars. Doesn't have to pass any complicated state inspections. and parts support is great for mid sized GM cars. Parts are easy to find and cheap to buy! Most importantly. you are buying a moderately priced quality car that will NOT depreciate in value. and with reasonable care. will actually appreciate as time goes on. Most importantly. remember. "Survivor" vehicles are where the vintage car hobby is headed. Anyone with a big checkbook can restore a derelict from the "dead". but they are only original and stock ONCE! If someone GAVE you a "project vehicle" you could not restore it for what you can buy this "turn key" car for! They just don't come along like this very often. Don't miss it!ABOUT ME: I have been classic car hobbyist. enthusiast. and trader for nearly 40 years! My museum/ collection favors nice original "Survivor" cars from the mid 1950s to about 1980. I have been at the same place in North Carolina for over 27 years. Please call me at 704-661-1326 with any questions. Thanks very much!NO RESERVE!!!! NO RESERVE!!!! NO RESERVE!!!!
