Description of 1978 Buick Other Base Hatchback 2-Door

I am offering my 1978 Buick Skyhawk for sale. In 2002, I purchased this Skyhawk from the estate of an elderly woman who purchased the car new from a dealership in Clearwater, FL. The car has remained with me in FL for the past 13 years. This Florida car has been very well maintained and has never had any rust! It starts, runs and drives great! Its 122,158 miles is original. (Mileage will change as car is driven some.) This Skyhawk came equipped with a 3.8 liter V6 engine, 3 speed automatic transmission, P/S w/tilt steering wheel, P/B and AM radio. The car comes with a set of RARE Factory Optional Buick Skyhawk "D"- hole aluminum wheels, w/aftermarket center caps. (I have a set of black Rally II factory optional wheels with trim rings and factory center caps you can buy at additional cost.) I have updated the Skyahwk with the following equipment: Performance shock absorbers, factory rear sway bar, rear springs by Dobi, (very rare & not made anymore), rebuilt radiator, new engine and transmission mounts, new tires, radiator, alternator battery and fuel pump. A new headliner is included with the car. (Not installed) The car was repainted in 2009 with Chrysler Cranberry Pearl paint. I hate to have to sell this nice car but, I have too many toys, not enough space and not enough $$. The car may be seen by appointment. If you have any questions, please contact me. PRICE: Asking - $3500. Thank you for your interest in my Buick Skyhawk. - Richard
