Description of 1972 Buick Riviera Sport Coupe

This 1972 Buick Riviera has many stock and additional features that came straight out of the production plant in Flint Michigan. To those who might not know there was only 33. 28 documented Riviera's made in 1972 and this one is number 27. 76. This Riviera is even more special because it came with White Vinyl Bucket Seats and a consolette (short console). nbsp;a White Landau Roof (it has been removed in order to treat the roof rot) and body side molding. Oh and did I mention the color Vintage Red. paint code 73?! Only 2. 01 Riviera's were able to get this beautiful color. To better explain how truly rare this car is I will put it into numbers. The vinyl bucket seats and the short console. there was only 1. 03 made. The white landau vinyl roof only came on 1. 42 cars and the body side molding was only produced on 24 cars!! That's . 07%!!! This car also has heavy duty suspension; which only came in 6. 45 cars. nbsp;high performance dual exhaust. positraction rear end and 5 spoke Buick rims with Riviera centers. The 5 way wiring system that came stock in this car is used for towing and it was only in 164 cars. The engine is original but has been rebuilt from a 455 to a 462. I must mention that this car is capable of running but at the moment is missing a battery and the extensions to the manifold that leads to the exhaust. The seats will need some attention due to the rips that have occurred over time but for being 43 years old that Artic White seat color is still looking good. The car comes with the factory jack and full size factory spare tire with mag. I can go on and on for days about the value of this car; to pass it up would be a crying shame. You will not find another Riviera that has as many neat. rare and original qualities as this one for the amount I am selling it for.
