Description of 1972 Buick Electra

I’ve got too many cars. which is why I’m selling this one. I think the 1972 Buick Electra 225 Limited is a great looking car and one of the best years for the Electra. which is why I bought it. This one is loaded with the right options AM/FM. power locks. cruise. auto climate control (works great)…plus all the standard Electra Limited fare. They really spoiled the looks after 72’ (my opinion) with the ugly bumpers. They just got it all right in 72’ with the whole design being integrated. 70 years of forward progress in Buick engineering: The Buick 455 and Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transmission. smoother than whipped butter. yet tough as a Sherman tank. This car was parked in a heated garage when the husband (original owner) passed away in 1989. and remained there till I bought it last year. when his widow passed away. Despite being from Duluth. MN the car is not rusty/corroded…it was only driven in the summer months for vacations. It has 67k miles and drives like it…you can balance a nickel on the engine when it is running. The only thing I had done to it since it was stored properly (they even drained the fuel system out) was install a new master cylinder. wheel cylinders and brake lines. The brake pedal went to the floor and the brake light was on. Now the brakes work as they should. Issues: there’s a spot the was spot painted and a little filler employed (like a tablespoon) to cover a scratch on the front pass fender…color match off…also the tires look perfect. but are from 1988. These cars are hard to find with low miles/unmolested cared for. So many were demo-derbied or just junked when fuel prices went up. Perfect for a Buick collector. or someone who appreciates these majestic locomotives. I have ALL the original documentation…as you can see in the photos. this includes the window sticker. Read my feedback: I’ve sold many cars from my collection on eBay in the last decade. 100% feedback. You or your designee is welcome to see the car in person. Unlike some other folks on eBay. I’m not a dealer with pie-in-the-sky prices and ads riddled with crazy verbiage; full of misspelled words and poor grammar. No outrageous claims that this is the best one in the world. The car is dusty in the pics as I just drove it out of storage. Never done any detailing to it…never even dusted the engine compartment. as you can see…it’s that well preserved. This car is super nice. although not perfect… Low buy-it-now. even lower reserve. I’m easy to deal with and flexible with storage. Ask questions if you need something clarified.
